From the L.A. Times this week, a wonderfully written story about the life history of a Stradivarius. Raises some interesting questions about collecting...
Great story! As a musician who has put his (however lowly) instrument in the back seat of the car and run into a convenience store, watching furtively from the store window, as i picked up a snack after a late night gig, this story gives me the shudders! I've got to wonder why the hel it was thrown off tto the side of the road...the mysterious woman in the car next to margetts...it's got me going. thanks, Sharon
